Artertainer was founded in 2017, when Jenny Harrison turned her love of face painting into an event entertainment business in Orange County, CA.

Growing up, Jenny was inspired by the whimsy and imagination of cartoons, and was drawn (pun intended) to California State University Fullerton to study Animation. While earning her Bachelor in Fine Arts she started face painting as a college job. She enjoyed it so much that she kept doing it as a side-hustle, even when she was finally working in the industry she earned a degree in.

Jenny didn’t start doing Pancake art until 2017, when a regular client asked her to try it. After months of practicing and posting her pancakes online, she was approached by Dancakes, the first and largest pancake art company in the United States. In 2018 she joined their team and was soon travelling all over the country and internationally to perform with them.

Jenny’s work has been featured on Ryan’s Mystery Playdate (Nickelodeon), The Star Wars Show (YouTube) and across social media. Since becoming a mother in 2023, Jenny focuses more on commissions & local events, continuing to deliver creative, interactive experiences that bring joy and excitement to every occasion.
